Kim has exhibited in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy, while she continues to develop an international presence and expand her audience. Taking every opportunity to learn, experiment and connect, she is recognized as a leader in ceramic visual arts both nationally and internationally. She is the recipient of many honourable awards and grants, including grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and Ontario Arts Council, winning the Best of Ceramics from the Toronto Outdoor Fair. In 2020, she won the only national award for emerging ceramic artists in Canada, the Winifred Shantz Award for Ceramics. More recently, she was named Artist of the Year 2023 by ITSLIQUID group from Venice, Italy, as she demonstrated appeal in international contemporary art circles.
